Community Guidelines

Draft — pending legal review. This text is a working draft written from the product requirements. It is not final and is not yet in force.
Lists here are personal recommendations, written by people who actually went. These guidelines keep them worth reading.
1. Be respectful
Lists are personal recommendations, not verdicts. Write about places the way you would describe them to a friend.
Do not attack people, groups, or the business owners behind the places you write about.
2. Write from experience
Say what you actually know. Invented places, copied text passed off as your own, and lists made only to advertise something are not what this is for.
3. Keep other people out of it
Do not include someone else’s name, address, workplace, or anything else that identifies them. That applies to the people you travelled with as much as to strangers.
4. What is not allowed
Lists containing any of the following are made private or removed:
- Hate speech, harassment, or threats.
- Sexually explicit content, or anything sexualising a minor.
- Encouraging illegal or dangerous activity.
- Spam, scams, or misleading commercial promotion.
- Content that infringes copyright or someone’s privacy.
5. Report what breaks the rules
Every published list has a report action. Reporting takes one tap and asks for no reason — we look at the list itself.
If someone's lists make you uncomfortable, block them. Their lists stop appearing for you, and they are not told.
6. What we do about it
We review reports and either make the list private again, remove it, or leave it as it is. Every decision is recorded with who made it and when.
Reports are not votes: a list is not removed because it was reported many times, and one report is enough if the content warrants it.
